Very Happy
Two salesmen were sent to a foreign land to sell shoes. Upon arrival they discovered that the natives did not put on shoes. The first salesman called back the headquarters and told them he will be returning immediately because there was no market for shoes. The second salesman equally called the office but this is what he said “We have hit the jackpot. Nobody wears shoes YET. Same situation different perspectives!
That is what happens to us all the times. We have different attitudes. While the second person saw a potential market (if the natives were convinced to wear shoes), the first salesman fail to see it in the same light..
Simply put, attitude is ones basic outlook on life which could either be positive or negative. A positive person sees the opportunity in every problem whereas a negative person sees the problem in every opportunity.
“Success is achieved by those who try and keep trying with a positive mental attitude.” Clement Stone
“You cannot control what happens to you but you can control your attitude towards what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.” Brian Tracy
“Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude towards it, for that determines our success or failure.” Norman Vincent Peale
“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal. Nothing can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.” Joseph Cossman
“It`s not your aptitude but attitude that determines your altitude.” Jesse Jackson Sr.
“Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitude of minds.” William James
